Erica Hernandez is a senior producer for weekend programming on CNN's programming and distribution team. Based in Atlanta, GA, Hernandez coordinates with teams across the news network to create engaging framing into the weekend's top news through headlines, alerts and social posts on and off CNN's platforms. Before joining CNN in 2018, Hernandez was a multimedia journalist at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. A graduate of the University of Florida, Hernandez is a Gator in Georgia Bulldog nation. Born and bred in Miami, she's a second-generation Cuban-American with a constant thirst for a good cafecito.
