How To Win on Search and Social As Platforms Deprioritize News

This conversation will bring together journalists who are finding success breaking news and building audiences via search and social media even as these platforms deprioritize news . We’ll talk about how shifting away from a purely transactional strategy and moving back to building community and investing in social audiences on each platform ultimately lead to a loyal and valuable audience.

This session is for journalists and media executives who are curious about how new formats can extend the life of their content and reach new audiences.

  • From the Lobby Level: When you are facing the hotel registration desks, walk towards the right, past the gift/convenience store until you see the elevators on your right. The escalators will be past the elevators. You will go down two levels.

  • From LL3: Walk to the right side of this level (if facing away from the elevators/escalators and towards the central foyer area). You will go around the corner past the Canva Studio in Piedmont all the way down until you see the escalators and elevators. Go up one level.

  • You cannot access the International Tower if you are on LL1 or LL2.
