Links I Would Gchat You If We Were Friends
Caitlin Dewey is ostensibly a "creator journalist," though she isn't sure she's ready to embrace the term (!). She writes the long-running digital culture newsletter "Links I Would Gchat You If We Were Friends," which now mails twice-weekly to 22,000 subscribers around the world.
Caitlin previously worked as a reporter at The Washington Post and The Buffalo News, her hometown paper. As a freelance journalist, she has contributed to The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Guardian, The Cut, Elle, Slate, Cosmopolitan, The Counter and Medium’s OneZero, among other publications. She was also an advisor to the Poynter-Koch Media and Journalism Fellowship and continues to mentor young reporters and teach on topics including creator journalism and artificial intelligence. You can read more about Caitlin's work on her website.
